Each Bible cover is slightly different from the others due to the tanning process, which, being vegetable-based and not synthetic, results in slight variations at the end of their production. For this reason, small imperfections in the leather should not be considered defects, but rather a sign of the product's authenticity.

For the closure system of our Bible covers, we have chosen the "long lace" solution, which, by wrapping around the entire object, gives it an ancient, timeless style. This system dates back to the time of scribes who used it to hold together less important manuscripts that were not bound in the classic, more expensive way, which involved sewing and gluing together the various pages (almost always parchment) to create the manuscript as we know it today.

Genuine calf leather is a natural material obtained from the hides of young cattle (calves), selected for its high quality, fine grain, and softness to the touch. It stands out from other leathers due to its compact yet flexible structure, which makes it particularly suitable for high-value craftsmanship, such as leather goods, bookbinding, footwear, or religious accessories.

When tanned by hand and without synthetic treatments, calf leather retains all its authentic beauty, making it ideal for high-end and low environmental impact products.

Dimensions: 22x46 cm. Useful internal height 21 cm.
