The Canticle of the Creatures, written by Saint Francis of Assisi around 1224, is considered one of the first poetic texts in Italian literature. It is a hymn of praise to God for the beauty and goodness of creation, but also a song of universal brotherhood. The profound meaning of the Canticle is an invitation to gratitude, humility, and respect for every creature, because all are part of the same family and participate in the praise of the Creator.

Saint Francis addresses natural elements by calling them “brother” and “sister”, recognizing in them the reflection of divine love.

Handcrafted from precious olive wood, this Tau combines the warmth of traditional craftsmanship with the strength of Franciscan symbolism. Each piece is unique thanks to the natural grain of the wood, which tells the story of the tree from which it comes.

The illustration inspired by the "Canticle of the Creatures" is a small collector's item or a gift for those who love spirituality, nature, and art.

A parchment with the explanation of the meaning of the Tau is included as a gift.
